we are all
we are all
Some values are meant to be kept intact and passed on.
Other customs are intended to be adapted to the times, kept in spirit, true to the same ideals, but aligned with the new times.
And some are destined to be changed.
Sometimes we need to question our assumptions. Identifying what to keep, what to adapt and what to change is not like solving an equation.
There is no single right answer.
It is a path that requires internal reflection and external observation. It demands listening and cooperating with others. It requires trying, experimenting, and failing. It requires perseverance and patience. It entails bringing down dogmas and stereotypes.
It requires personal commitment to change.
The type of change done to make things better for others.
Change that strives for inclusion, cohesion, respect, compassion.
We commit ourselves to be agents of that change.
We believe in striving for a better world;
We believe in leading by example;
We believe in small gradual changes that eventually hit the tipping point;
We believe that our lives, our actions, our example is the vehicle for change;
We craft change like artisans:
Manually, gradually, with perseverance, with passion.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
My life is my message.
Real change, enduring change,
happens one step at a time.
It always seems impossible until it's done.
There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.
Not all of us can do great things.
But we can do small things with great love.
